VIEWS FROM THE OBSERVATORY:

With the glory of the night skies at Grove Creek, it is often forgotten that the
Observatory is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Australia!

The Observatory is located on a sheep and cattle grazing property. Visitors have often commented on the beautiful  views of the property, named "The Grove", with which the Observatory is located on its highest elevation. Staggering views across the famous Australian Blue Mountains can be seen.

Above, 2 views of our old eucalyptus tree, north of the Observatory buildings - the night image is a 4 hour exposure.
The image on the right was enlarged to "wall poster size", which won a national photography award.
